My last wedding of the year and it was a pretty great party! Split over two days, I took a couple of hours of photos and a few formals at the actual wedding ceremony on the Friday, then on the Saturday was the big party! This couple have such a great positive vibe together and clearly enjoyed being able to share their special day with all their friends and family. With three dresses in total (and I didn’t even get to see the third one), this bride certainly enjoyed stealing the show. I must say though, it was her beaming smile that shone the brightest.

Doves, balloons, yummy chocolates, a beer barrel and flamenco dancing certainly kept everyone entertained. Here are a few shots from the actual wedding day next to the Binningen Schloss:

Here are just a few snaps from the amazing party location of Sichtwerk, that was just over the border in Einmeldung, Germany. Check out their girls in their super cute tutu’s:

Congratulations to you both! You have a beautiful family and a really great bunch of friends. Wishing you many years of fun and laughter.

This very well co-ordinated wedding was by the lake near to Neuchatel. A wonderful part of Switzerland. After a week of rain on and off and some crazy high temperatures, it was actually pretty great conditions on this wedding day – not too hot, not too bright and the location was perfect for still having the ceremony outside on the covered veranda.

Arti arrived with her entourage looking amazing and radiant. Stan had arrived by boat with all the other guests. It was a beautiful ceremony and after everyone enjoyed an extended apero.

I would recommend Hôtel Jean-Jacques Rousseau for any wedding day. The room for dinner was wonderfully bright and well decorated next to a bar and area for the disco that came later. Here are a few piccies from the ceremony to start:

Some family piccies and a bit of mingling and it was time to sit down to dinner and enjoy some amazing speeches. I loved how many kids were at this wedding, they all had a turn at saying how much the all loved the bride.

Then to the party! Something that got up and running very quickly. The music was excellent – a really nice mix of Indian music and classics. I would say that everyone at some point got up and took their turn on the dancefloor. I’m pretty sure that it continued for a long time after I took my last frame.

This one is my last frame. I wish you a long and happy marriage. Thanks for letting me share with you your special day.

What a lovely lovely couple. I cried during the speeches at this wedding and left feeling like I knew them really well and had only sincere heartfelt happy thoughts for them as they begin the next stage of their lives together.

It was a pretty sunny and hot day, which put everyone in a good mood after the week of rain that we had. I joined the girls getting ready and boy there were lots of them. I walked into a floury of lilac smiles. Everyone excitedly getting ready together including a little baby bump hiding in one bridesmaid. In the midst of all this was a very nervously excited glowing bride.

Here are just a few of the getting ready photos:

Then it was time to pile into the taxi’s and the beautiful old Bentley. What a beautiful car! Making sure we got the bride to the beautiful PetersKirch on time for a great ceremony and then apero and dinner at Bottmingen Schloss:

There are so many more great photos, but for now this is all. There will be a slideshow with more coming your way very soon!

Sincere congratulations on finding each other and all the very best with the adventures that lie ahead of you both.

Finally, my favourite pic of the couple:

I have been away in the UK for a nice long break recently and the main reason for this was so that I could be bridesmaid for my wonderful freind Pippa. We’ve known each other since University and met at Damflask reservoir as part of the University of Sheffield Rowing team. We became great friends, working in an Irish Pub together and also travelling together. My first ever long haul flight was with Pip to China in 2003. We were in Beijing for Chinese New Year, Chungdu, Xian and even had quite an adventure to Lhasa, Tibet. Happy memories.

Pip is quite a force of nature, if she wants to do something, it will be done. She’s raised tonnes of money for charity through her jobs and is just an amazing, steady person. When I first met Rich, I knew she’d finally found her man for life. The pair of them are such a great team and the nicest, chilled out couple. It was such a wonderfully perfect day for her wedding and everyone enjoyed a super great party too. It was a pleasure and an honour being one of your bridesmaids. Thank you!

Here are a few of my photos from the day. The amazing venue, Shottle Hall, Pip’s dad’s Classic Car, details of the dress and Pip with her proud Dad:

The ceremony was bright and light and simple. Just perfect:

We had a bit of time to get some piccies of the happy couple and their family:

Then some party pictures…

It was quite a party!

Finally, a shot of me as bridesmaid:

Congratulations to the both of you! I wish you many many happy years together xxx
