My first wedding of the season and it was beautiful. Ana and Darren were married in the Binningen Registry office and then moved onto the Bottmingen Schloss for a gorgeous Apero and Dinner – what a perfect setting. Before they headed up for dinner, they let go two big bunches of white balloons tagged with heartfelt messages from their guests that were ‘going to Canada’, the birthplace of the Groom.

It was an absolute pleasure being able to capture your very special day for you both. Wishing you and long and happy life together.

The baby bump from two posts ago arrive just before I left for my trip to America. Luckily, I managed to squeeze in a quick visit to the hospital before heading home to pack. Here is Little Miss M at 2 days old. Isn’t she beautiful!

Looking forward to seeing you all again when I am back for our follow up shoot. Enjoy your first days/weeks together and congratulations!

It was an honour to document the Baptism of this little girl. She looked so completely and utterly adorable with her lovely white dress and pretty little pigtails. After the short ceremony we headed down to another church with the most beautiful blossoming magnolia trees for a few family pics.

This lovely lady came all the way from Zurich for part one of two maternity sessions we have planned. I’d met her a few weeks before in Zurich, where we discovered that we had both been to Sheffield University. Instantly bonded, it was a delight to be able to help document her journey through pregnancy into motherhood. I was so happy that only days before all the blossom had come out in the trees just up the road. Hopefully the next shoot will see another diptych like the one below, but mid summer. Looking forward to seeing you and your bigger bump again soon Miss H.
