Monthly Archives: October 2009

I have had a lot of inquiries lately about bookings and I just want to officially say on my website that I am fully booked for the rest of the year (!) and that there is already a small waiting list that are keen to take any cancellations. Great news for me, but not so great news for those wanting piccies in time for Christmas.

It’s been a great year so far and I’m so thankful for all your support, encouragement, kind words and business. I couldn’t have imagined being in this position a couple of years ago and I totally love what I am doing and all the beautiful memories that I am helping to create. It is a true gift – for me and hopefully for you.

I have booked on a Photographic Conference with the SWPP in January that I hope will continue to steer me in the right direction and help me think about the business side of things. I am signed up to quite a few workshops too. I’m quite looking forward to it. Hopefully during that month I will have time to spend assessing the past couple of years and making a few changes/additions to my services – for example, my Landscape Course page is *still* not created, but has been running successfully for a while now. I promise to get it up soon and everyone will be able to see the student galleries that I am putting together from my very talented pupils. I am very proud of you all!

No post is good without an image. This is my little girl on the Saturday morning before my Christmas Card Marathon last weekend – straight out of bed, posing/hiding with/behind her favourite things. I won’t post piccies from my clients in case I spoil the surprise on the cards! But it was a HUGE success and I hope all that participated enjoyed their session as much as me!

It’s felt so busy lately that I’ve hardly spent any quality time with my gorgeous, beautiful and fun-loving daughter Maia. I’d had it in mind since acquiring my new prop toadstool from the Cologne trade fair that I would take Maia up into the woods (that are 2 mins from our apartment) and take some fun photos. Daddy was home too, so we had some help getting the pictures. The cape we got for her in Hong Kong and was a gift for her second birthday. The combination just screams out for photos. We also found another friend who was interested in playing too.. (the last one is my new screen saver!)

One day, Little Red Riding went for a walk in the woods. She stopped at a bench for a little rest and was happy to be joined by a little imp – “Hello Imp”, Little Red Riding said:

The imp disappeared as quickly as it appeared, so little red riding went searching:

Ah-ha! There you are little imp..

Also, a couple of rare pictures of us.. daddy and mummy:

These two little girls were simply adorable. It was a beautiful drive out to where they live and day was just lovely for a photoshoot. We played in the garden and in their bedrooms and also put up the mini studio for a few black background images. There was a lot of energy and lots of fun. Enjoy your sneak peek.

This family are just too good looking! If such a thing is possible. 🙂 The latest addition to the family is no exception. As always, it was a pleasure to spend time with you all and to be a part of documenting your new little boy into the world. He was such an angel to take photos of and barely made a peep our whole session. See you all again soon.
