Oh, I’m a lucky girl! Meeting all these wonderful little people and getting to play is just lots of fun. This Swiss family had seen my pictures in Bookbinders in Bern and got in touch with me to see if I would travel that far to see them -of course I agreed and I was very happy for the little road trip.

On meeting this little girl she reached her arms out for a big hug – I love that! She was an inquisitive little lady and was very interested in sitting on my knee after me I’d taken a picture to check it out. I think she was happy with how it was going. She kept me on my toes throughout our session and it was a pleasure. Thank you for getting in touch and having me come to play!

Love how well her top works in this photo:

Giggles on the swing (this took a little while to get!):

And the happy family with their gorgeous view:

I get to actually see this little boy grow through his mum’s regular updates. His mum and I became friends whilst she came to see me throughout her pregnancy to document this little boys growth. I was there at the hospital to take newborn pictures just days after the birth and they took my advice of a 9 month shoot to be the best time in the first year for additional photos.

Even though it rained the whole way through our shoot, we still had lots of fun, smiles and got some great photos. We took most of our pictures at the very tranquil Zurich Zendoo centre and then a few more back at home before I headed back to Basel.

Here is the gorgeous little one, just look at those super sweet curls:

And sharing giggles with mummy and daddy:

Love heading out to see this family. They’ve become close friends and have enjoyed the fruits of my labour since the very beginning. The very first shoot I did was when the eldest little boy was 9 months old, this time it was to celebrate the youngest being the same age. I always say that 9 months is a great age to take photos. This shoot proved me totally right – he was perfect, the bigger challenge was keeping his mischievous older brother still! We did a good job and it was lots of fun.

It’s also Father’s Day on Sunday, I hope all you dads out there have a great day with your little ones. This is just the perfect picture for that:

The 9 month old younger brother – full of smiles:

Not forgetting mummy and daddy – still as gorgeous as ever!

Ah, it’s been busy here. When there is no activity on the blog, it’s usually because there is so much more going on and it’s one of the items that gets pushed down the to-do list.

I am pleased though that today has been just the day I needed it to be – lots of editing, lots of energy and lots of encouragement. Thanks to everyone that I know and that helps and supports me living my dream job – you know who you all are xx

I have two more shoots this weekend and after this blog there will hopefully be one more blog before the night is out.

In the meantime, here are some beautiful people – mummy, daddy, big sister and baby bump, looking forward to putting a face to the smallest of them:
