A few things about me:

I'm British.

My favourite relaxing passtime is knitting. In times past it used to be running (alas, not much since giving birth to my delightful daughter - one day I'll run a marathon again).

When I first came to Basel I brought with me only some clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, a shuttle computer (very small desktop PC, no monitor) and my cello in order to live a more simple life. It worked... for a while.

I am the eldest of three, my two other siblings being brothers, Dan and Tom.

There is a 13 year gap between me and my youngest brother.

I grew up in small southern villages in the UK.

I have a degree from the University of Sheffield in Mathematics and Philosophy.

I really wish there was a real fish and chip shop here in Basel. Just one. (Nordsee doesn't count!)

Same goes for a M&S.

In the right mood my eyes can change colour and become flurescent green.

I know that today is this gorgeous mummy’s birthday, so first a BIG Happy Birthday to you!

Here is your sneak preview from your session a couple of weeks ago. Worth waiting for. There were loads of great piccies to choose from, but I’ve settled for these for now.

We took these pictures on Easter Sunday and met at Marktplatz. The place was completely empty, we had it all to ourselves pretty much – well, there was a good bit of wind keeping us on our toes too. It seems that there was someone else out with us that day too, because when we got to the Munster we found some yummy chocolate eggs! Looks like the Easter bunny knew we were coming. Just at the right time too. Here are the two boys eating on their yummy chocolate eggs:

Shannon - Claire as usual, amazing! Sam, they are fantastic!!! You’ll treasure them. I suggest taking a few to your temporary house if you get one, ours made the lifeless house feel a bit more like a home!
