~ Do not walk on the art! ~

This gorgeous little girl has been in front of my camera many times. She’s one of my pro’s! Mum is super organised and always brings a good range of outfits – this time was no exception. This little miss does remind me a lot of my own little girl, they are around the same age, both have dark features and are both super cheeky and cute. Adorable.

We had our shoot this time at the Beyler Museum gardens in Riehen. It was a really bright, high-contrast day that started pretty cold and fairly quickly warmed up. Dad had to pop back home to get starbunny – the favourite cuddly companion. In the meantime we started taking some photos, including a lovely bright tutu skirt:

Mostly, we had parked ourselves at the base of this giant shrub shaped like a pig which had a tonne of pretty flowers on it. Here is the look daddy got as he arrived with Starbunny:

On arriving Starbunny quickly pointed out to us that we had perhaps already been a bit too naughty!

Happy to see daddy and have Starbunny back:

Watching mummy and daddy having a hug:

Can you spot Starbunny?? He can fly!!!!

Until next year! I’m already looking forward to it.

Jude - Love the flying bunny photo!

~ Love the smiles on this one ~

I have quite a few families this year signed up to my Baby Plan.  It means that throughout the first year, you have 4 sessions to document your little one getting bigger and cuter.  This family is just so lovely and warm and funny, I love going to see them and catching up with how everything is.

It was no surprise to see that this little charmer was well into being mobile.  Hard to keep him in one place for very long meant that I got quite a few shots like this:

But, when I did get him still, I was rewarded with seriously adorable smiles like this:

What a cutie pie!

We read some books with mummy:

In his new little corner of the family living area:

Good work there mummy!  I’m very impressed.

Then we also nipped out to the local park for a few shots before heading home for a well deserved sleep.  Always a pleasure!  I look forward to our next shoot when this little monkey will be a whole year!!!

Catherine - Wow gorgeous baby and family and just love that living room! Lovely photos :o )

~ Wedding: Arti & Stan ~

This very well co-ordinated wedding was by the lake near to Neuchatel. A wonderful part of Switzerland. After a week of rain on and off and some crazy high temperatures, it was actually pretty great conditions on this wedding day – not too hot, not too bright and the location was perfect for still having the ceremony outside on the covered veranda.

Arti arrived with her entourage looking amazing and radiant. Stan had arrived by boat with all the other guests. It was a beautiful ceremony and after everyone enjoyed an extended apero.

I would recommend Hôtel Jean-Jacques Rousseau for any wedding day. The room for dinner was wonderfully bright and well decorated next to a bar and area for the disco that came later. Here are a few piccies from the ceremony to start:

Some family piccies and a bit of mingling and it was time to sit down to dinner and enjoy some amazing speeches. I loved how many kids were at this wedding, they all had a turn at saying how much the all loved the bride.

Then to the party! Something that got up and running very quickly. The music was excellent – a really nice mix of Indian music and classics. I would say that everyone at some point got up and took their turn on the dancefloor. I’m pretty sure that it continued for a long time after I took my last frame.

This one is my last frame. I wish you a long and happy marriage. Thanks for letting me share with you your special day.

~ 4 Seasons : Summer sessions #1 ~

So, it looks like summer is finally properly here! Lots of swimming in the Rhine (not that I have actually done that yet), the Chill am Ry bar is set up and the open air Orange cinema is up. To be honest, for me, it’s been a bit too hot at times and pretty sweltering in my office. However, the outdoor pools are great to cool down in and it’s been fun enjoying a bit of an extended summer holiday with my girl!

I still have some sessions to do, but here is a bit of a sneak peek at my sessions so far:
